The purpose of the Kansas City Youth Lacrosse League (KCYLL) is to provide the youth boys residing within the Kansas City metropolitan area a healthful and enjoyable lacrosse experience as well as develop qualities that may help them in later life; sportsmanship, team play, and integrity.
Persons with lacrosse experience as a player or coach who are interested in coaching youth lacrosse should contact Tim Block at
The league currently consists of ten programs. One school sponsored programs (Pembroke Hill and St. Paul's Episcopal Day School) and nine neighborhood programs (Blue Valley, Brookside, Leawood, United in Lees Summit, Northland, Olathe, Prairie Village, Mill Valley and Lawrence). The season is generally from late March until Memorial Day. Most games are played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The season ends with a year end tournament for 9U through 14U.
